Rebecca trained in the UK, graduating from Southampton University in 1999 and has been living and working in Perth since 2001. She enjoys all aspects of medicine and is qualified to insert IUDs (copper and progesterone) and Implanons. Rebecca worked in Perth hospitals for many years as a medical registrar, gaining a wide range of experience. She always loves to see children and has 2 young daughters that keep her busy when not at work. In any spare time she loves windsurfing, sailing and camping.

Liz grew up in Cambridge, England and graduated with an honours degree in Medicine in 1995. After moving to Perth she worked in public hospital in a wide variety of areas. Prior to General Practice Liz worked for several years practicing psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand. Liz enjoys all aspects of General Practice. Outside of work she enjoys a busy outdoor lifestyle with her family camping, swimming, and running.

Dr Rene Lim

Rene grew up in Malaysia and moved to Australia age 13. He attended high school locally, and graduated in Medicine from UWA in 2004. He subsequently worked in Fremantle Hospital, PMH and KEMH. He completed General Practice training in 2010 and completed the Diploma of Child Health in 2011. Rene is interested in all areas of general practice and does minor surgical procedures. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, tennis, motorbikes and MotoGP.

Dr Alex Morse

Alex is one of the founding partners of Fremantle Family Doctors. He has worked as GP for over 25 years, and has wide experience in all aspects of General Practice. He has had a role as a teacher and trainer of young doctors and medical students for many years. He has a particular interest in seeing kids of any age, and in men’s health. He is married with 3 grown up sons, and loves bushwalking, reading and drinking wine, preferably all at the same time.

A Perth boy since 1970, Sacha completed his medical degree at UWA in 1990 and his GP fellowship in 1995. He lives locally with his two young sons, who keep him busy when he’s not at the surgery. A proud founding partner of the practice, Sacha enjoys the challenge that the breadth of General Practice can bring. He is particularly interested in Paediatrics, Asthma, Cardiology and Diabetes. His outside interests include paddling, running, cycling, photography, cooking, wine and travel.

Anna trained in the UK and qualified as GP in 1989. She has worked in General Practice in the UK and Australia since that time. She has an interest in all aspects of women’s health, particularly menopausal concerns, but enjoys seeing all manner of medical problems. She is skilled in the insertion of IUDs and Implanon. Her hobbies include kite surfing, gardening, reading, cooking and eating good food. She is married with 3 adult sons.

Alison graduated from St George’s Medical School in London in 1985. She completed her General Practice training in the UK gaining her diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Fellowship in General Practice during that time. She first came to Australia on a working holiday in 1989 and joined Fremantle Family Doctors in February 2008 following 7 years as a country GP back in England. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice with special interests in Women and Children’s health, implanon insertion and removal, shared Antenatal Care and skin excisions. She has 3 sons and loves reading, Pilates, playing the clarinet, camping, travel and attempting to surf with her family.

Our Dietician, Jessica Ruescher

Jessica Ruescher (APD, AN) originates from Harvey, South of Perth, and completed her studies at Curtin University with Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) and a Post Graduate Diploma (Dietetics). Jessica has provided dietetic services throughout Western Australia and Victoria during her career, including working in hospitals and community health. Jessica’s specialties include management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Type 2 Diabetes, Coeliac Disease and assisting people with weight concern using the Non-Diet Approach. Away from work, Jessica cannot get enough of the world of food, and in her spare time enjoys a meal and nice glass of red at any of Perth’s numerous restaurants.

Samantha grew up in country WA and worked as a medical scientist before graduating from Medicine at UWA in 2017. She worked at Fiona Stanley, Fremantle, Rockingham and SJOG Hospitals before entering GP training. Samantha enjoys all areas of medicine, but particular interests include older adults’ health, women’s health and haematology. She is married with 2 young children, and enjoys cooking, Pilates, trail walking and snowboarding.

Scott was born and raised in Perth and graduated from UWA in 2009. He worked for 5 years in Fremantle and Rockingham hospitals in a variety of medical specialties including geriatrics, stroke rehabilitation, renal and haematology. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and is qualified in the insertion and removal of Implanon. In his spare time he enjoys running, gardening and spending time with his young family.

Dr Sam Beh

Originally from Queensland, Sam finished his medical degree at Notre Dame University Fremantle in 2018. Since then he has worked and rotated through various departments in the hospital system.

Having settled into general practice, Sam is interested in all areas of general practice. He has particular interests in mental health, metabolic health, chronic disease management, and lifestyle and preventive medicine.

Sam completed undergraduate studies in nutrition and exercise science prior to medicine and maintains an interest in these areas in and outside of work.

Outside of work Sam’s interests include playing music, cooking, health and fitness and exploring WA.

Dr Hannah Taufiq

Dr Hannah Taufiq MBChB, FRACGP, is an experienced GP originally from the UK and has worked in Australia for the last 9 years. Dr Taufiq graduated from the University of Liverpool and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Her special interests include Women’s Health, Sexual Health and HIV medicine. Dr Taufiq is trained to insert contraceptive devices and offer detailed contraceptive consultations.

She has a broad understanding of general practice, including chronic disease management and minor skin cancer surgeries. Dr Taufiq works in acute medicine, general practice, and specialist sexual health centres around Perth, always focused on achieving the best outcomes for her patients.

When not working, Dr Taufiq enjoys spending time with her young family.

I grew up in the country and graduated from medical school at Notre Dame Fremantle in 2013. I have practiced in various specialties across Perth hospitals, as well as a short stint in Kalgoorlie, and did 3 years of paediatrics training before making the switch to General Practice.  I am interested in all aspects of general practice, particularly:

A focus on health at every size
Paediatrics including eczema and asthma
Women’s health
Sexual health
Chronic disease management
Mental health

I am passionate about patient centred care and enjoy providing education to empower patients to understand their health and wellbeing. When I’m not at work I enjoy growing various fruits and vegetables, being outdoors, cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Dr Daisy is a local general practitioner and is delighted to provide injectables for medical and cosmetic reasons. originating from the UK Dr. Daisy has called Fremantle home for over a decade. She has travelled the world quite extensively and is confident there is no better place to raise her three young children; build her life and home and exercise her busy spaniel. Early aspirations to be a specialist in tropical skin diseases when she graduated back in 2007 still infiltrate her general practice work now and her interest and enthusiasm in dermatology remain. Work in the injectable field has been a super fun addition over the past 3 years and has created a loyal following of patients who delight in her natural results, subtle enhancements and life-changing response to common medical issues. She treats muscle spasm issues, bruxisum and jaw clenching, hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) and many other problems or concerns. You will find her to be chatty but calm; capable but humble and relaxed but confident.
